A film by Louise Pearson, Theodora Prassa. Life on the streets wants to raise more awareness of the growing population of homeless. The film was created as a part of the BA fashion project of Louise as part of her exhibition. She wanted to create a film so the viewer could really get a feel and take a moment out to watch the video and realise the issues that are happening on the streets with the homeless The scenes are from the streets of Nottingham, people on the streets are presented and their living conditions with combination of scenes from walls, signs of decay, corners. Things that we do not really pay attention, as we walk by. There is a conversation between the scenes with food leftovers, movement and roads and presents life on the streets and reactions of people. We wanted to capture the homeless living there day to day lives but also capture spaces and objects left out as a metaphor for how the homeless feel living on the streets.
