独立电影《帽子》讲述秦教授长期侵占助手研究成果、钱色交易，助手洪磊为了夺回研究成果故意送给秦教授最喜欢的“泰勒”牌帽子，而帽子早已被做了手脚，加上女友陆晓玲的助攻。而陆晓玲却打着自己的算盘，她早已移情别恋。最终所有别有用心的人都未能如愿。展现了人在利益面前丑恶的一面，同时也提醒了我们面对利益要分清善恶，一味的只为了自身的利益是不会有好结果的。

The indie film The Hat tells the story of Professor Qin who has encroached aides’ research results for a long time and accepted bribery in forms of cash and sex. In order to retrieve his research results, Assistant Hong Lei deliberately gives Professor Qin his favorite "Tyler" Hat as a gift which is equipped with a hidden monitoring device, under the assistance of his girlfriend Lu Xiaoling. However, Lu Xiaoling also has other plans because she is cheating on Hong Lei. In the end, all planners fail to accomplish what they intend for. This film does not only show the evil when humanity is trialed by interest, but also reminds us to distinguish the good from the evil when it comes to interest. No good outcome will reward those who act only on their own benefits.
