本片摄制于台湾，来自美籍华人李止宜（Frank Lee）老师长年来关注公益事业，尤其在慰安妇这个议题上。莲花阿嬷去世后，台湾就只有两位慰安妇受害者幸存。他希望通过对于全世界慰安妇雕像的介绍来唤醒人们对于这一议题的关注。这不是让人们怀有仇恨活着，而是让更多的人同情，反省，以及帮助。

This film was shot in Taiwan. The Chinese American Frank Lee shows concern for public welfare business all the year round, especially the topic about comfort women. After Grandma Lotus passed away, there are only two survivors of comfort women in Taiwan. He wishes to awaken people to pay attention to this topic through giving introduction to the statues of comfort women all over the world. This is not to ask people to live with hatred, but to ask more people to show sympathy for them, make self-examination and help them.
