我的爷爷奶奶是两位八十多岁的老人，至今仍生活在偏远的农村。本片讲述了他们相识相伴、历经坎坷的故事。爷爷奶奶出生于上世纪三十年代的动荡之中，通过一场令人啼笑皆非的婚姻走到了一起。在随后的几十年里，他们经历自然灾害、十年动乱，却从未放弃过让六个子女接受文化教育。他们顽强地走入了生命中的第八个十年，继续留守在老家的故土之上。他们怀着对生活一如既往的的热爱和对世界的好奇，在农耕中迎来了一年又一年的春天。

My grandparents, who are both in their 80's, live alone in a remote village of China. This documentary is about how they met and went through the tough years including big historical events of China. Their 6 children all went to universities in the special period which is their achievement. Generally, my grandparents are so different in personalities and argue every day. However, they also take care of each other and live with an optimistic attitude. They determined themselves to stay in this village as long as they can.
