《她的字母写在云上》以在云南省云县九年一贯制学校支教的24岁的青年教师章颖为主体，从章颖的课堂、学生的课后生活出发，呈现了西南边陲一个小学校里的教育生态，并通过主人公的讲述，传递了她对中国当前乡村教育问题的诸多思考，展现了年轻人大学毕业后选择出走城市、扎根农村的一个缩影。

tells Zhang Ying, a 24-year-old young teacher in a nine-year school in Yun County, Yunnan. Starting from Zhang Ying's classroom and students' after-school life, this film presents the educational status in a primary school located in the southwestern border area in China. Through the leading role's narration, it reveals her thoughts about current problems of rural education in China and the college graduate's settlement in the rural area.
