The story is adapted from a Chinese idiom story called “A hundred birds paying homage to the Phoenix”. Gulosity, a monster in Chinese Mythology, is added into the story to let it more interesting. The animation uses Chines ink painting background with the paper-cut character together to create a unique animation feeling. This film is adapted from the Chinese idiom story "A Hundred Birds Dynasty Phoenix". The story also includes Tao Tie, a monster in Chinese mythology, which increases the fun of the story. The combination of the background of Chinese ink painting and the paper-cutting animation creates a different animation experience.
