李想从小对传统手艺扎龙灯艺术产生浓厚兴趣，将来想成为扎龙灯手艺的传承人，时常在同村唯一扎龙灯手艺人贾大爷家门口偷看扎龙灯，起初遭到贾大爷反对，同时李母在此期间和女儿发生多次争执，一气之下，离家出走。到同村老艺人贾大爷家，拜之为师，经过努力学习，最终实现自己的理想。母亲心脏病突发住院，李想奔向医院看望，一家人团圆。

Li Xiang was so interested in the traditional craft, making dragon lamp, that she wanted to become a inheritor of this craft. She usually peeped the only inheritor of the craft, uncle Jia, making dragon lamp but got refused by Jia initially. Li ran away from home angrily after quarreling with her mother several times. Li came to Jia and became his apprentice. She realized her dream after hard learning. Li rushed to hospital and got together with her mother who had got a sudden heart attack.
