The film tells the story of the life of women workers in Shenzhen of the author mother's generation. They also witnessed the historical changes in the ups and downs of manufacturing in the factory workshops. Over the decades, the demographic dividend has gradually disappeared. What has left behind is numerous family-style workshops on the southeast coast. Faced with the uncertain fate of urban industrial upgrading and transformation, whare is the future of those female workers?
