峨嵋村是一个傍水小村，这里一群男人为了生活每天凌晨一点钟起床赶去集市“抢鱼”，白天再于菜市场摊位转售从中赚取差价。他们每天和鱼打交道，因此被称作“鱼哥”。“鱼哥”大多是没有受过高等教育的劳动者，工作艰辛但生活上却十分富足。本纪录片追踪了金坛市峨嵋村的一个追求时尚、热爱奢侈品的“鱼哥”——陆飞，对他的日常工作生活进行记录，展现了一个艰苦奋斗、乐观积极的“鱼哥”的梦想与现实的差距。

E'mei Village is a small waterside village, where groups of men will get up at 1:00 A.M everyday to go to the market for seizing the fish, then resell to the booth vendors to make profit. They do the business with fish everyday ,so earn them the name "Brother Fish". Most of the Brother fish didn't receive much education, do labor jobs but earn much. This documentary records a fashionable, luxury-loving Brother fish named Lu Fei, and something about his daily life, to reveal his conflicts of dream full of struggling and reality.
