Compared to knowing a city from the aspects of its culture, history, geography, food is more convenient. The film tries to reveal the origin, development and making process of noodles in Shanxi, record the rich experience the noodles about Shanxi people, and their unique eating habit, aesthetic of food, their view of life ascented from existing level.
