芜湖因埠而城，与水亲近，江边有一处轮渡码头可到彼岸无为。十二月，江风萧瑟，两岸人借此往返。年末，芜湖古城拆迁殆尽，新的规划即将动工，大拆大建之中，旧时不复，但记忆犹存。

Wu Hu is a city famous for ports and river. There is one pier can reach the opposite side, Wu Wei. In December, the wind around the river is whistling, the people go and return by the pier. At the end of the year, the old city Wu Hu will be pulled down, and new construction is under plan. During the construction, though old city will be gone, memories will last forever.
