傅定彦，网名海盗王基德，重庆土生土长的80后摄影师，曾是网络工程师，开过户外用品店，当过户外领队，因为从小痴迷于航海文化，喜欢那片神秘的蔚蓝之上承载着的探索与冒险，所以网名出自于大航海时代里一位著名海盗——威廉基德。 在从事网络工程师两年后，不安分的傅定彦实在受不了这种毫无“趣味”的工作，他辞职开始自学摄影。凭借着在影像方面的天赋，他在半年后开设了自己的摄影工作室，成为了一名职业摄影师，主要拍摄的内容是婚庆和肖像。在三年以后，傅定彦的摄影工作室步入正轨，客户越来越多，他也获得了一些摄影比赛的奖项，但是，不安分的傅定彦又开始了新的“征途”。 2012年冬天，他关掉工作室，和两个朋友开始了81天的追梦之旅，从重庆出发，一路向西，沿着中国的边境线再向北向东，最后回到重庆。为了拍摄星空照片，他们三个人经常在野外露营，而零下30多度的荒野根本睡不着觉，但他却十分享受这份艰苦。

"Fu Dingyan, the online name Pirate Wang Jide, a native-born photographer of 1980s in Chongqing was ever a network engineer, ever ran an outdoor shop, ever acted as outdoor leader. Since he was obsessed with navigation culture from childhood, he liked exploration and adventure carried on the mysterious azure, his online name originated from the name of a famous pirate in the times for great navigation-William Kidd. After two years while he acted as network engineer, Fu Dingyan who was not satisfied with the present situation couldn’t stand such kind of “uninteresting” job. He resigned and started to learn photography by himself. Depending on his gift in image, he set up his own photography studio in half a year, and became a professional photographer. He mainly took pictures for wedding celebration and portraits. After three years, Fu Dingyan’s photography studio stepped on the right path, and had more and more customers. He also won some awards in photography contests. However, Fu Dingyan who was not satisfied with present situation started a new “expedition” again. In the winter of 2012, he closed the studio, and started the journey of chasing dream lasting for 81 days. Starting from Chongqing, they went all the way to the west, went northward and eastward along the borderline of China, and finally came back to Chongqing. In order to take the pictures of starry sky, three people of them often went camping. They almost couldn’t fall asleep in the wilderness of more than 30 centigrade below zero.
