故事里，一所养老院和一所幼儿园毗邻而居，一堵围墙自然地把这两个承载人生特殊时间段的地方分开。一个红皮球在一场游戏中“打破”了这堵的围墙，把处在生命两端的这一老一少联系了起来。从陌生到关注，从关注到依赖，情感的破冰和转化默默地改变了他们的关系。他们在这段看似再普通不过的交往中给了我们一个不平凡“伙伴”的故事。
A nursing home and a kindergarten are next to each other, with a wall naturally dividing the two locations that carry the special periods of human life. In one game, a red rubber ball "breaks through" this wall, thus associating the elderly and the young kids on both ends of the life. From a sense of strangeness to concerns from concerns to dependence, the ice-breaking and transformation of emotions are silently altering their relationships. Amid their seemingly ordinary interactions, they grant us an unusual story on "companions".
